Our day starts for all pupils at 8:45am when they enter the academy building to begin learning. By 8:55am, our gates are closed, the school site is secured and any pupils who are late to school must sign in via the office at the main entrance on Willoughby Road.

At 11:45am, pupils are collected from Nursery. Reception and full time Nursery pupils begin their lunchtime at 11:45am. Lunchtime finishes at 12:45pm and pupils continue with their learning until 3:10pm.

Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 pupils enjoy their lunchtime from 12:00pm – 1pm before continuing with their learning until 3:15pm.

Parents and carers are welcome to collect pupils from the playground, directly from classroom doors at 3:10pm (Nursery and Reception) and 3:15pm (KS1 and KS2).

If pupils are attending extra-curricular provision, this typically ends at 4:15pm and pupils are collected via the Main Office.

We know how important it is that children begin their day right. Therefore, we offer a breakfast club to pupils at a small cost. Our breakfast club begins at 8am and children can choose from a range of breakfast options. We have a variety of activities available such as games and reading. If you would like your child to attend breakfast club, contact the school office, who will be happy to assist.

We also have support staff taking intervention groups during this time to help support children’s learning further.
